TOWNEPLACE SUITES BY MARRIOTT HOLDS GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION
Fort Myers, FL – November 14, 2024 – Marriott International’s TownePlace Suites by Marriott Fort Myers Gulf Coast hosted their Grand Opening Celebration today. The Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce served as Emcee for the event and official ribbon cutting ceremony. Guests were treated to refreshments and hotel tours. Area mascots Swampee from the Florida Everblades and Mussel Man from the Fort Myers Mighty Mussels also made an appearance during the celebration.
The newly constructed hotel, located at 16975 Vintage Commerce Blvd, opened for business on November 1, 2024. The 126-suite hotel is located just off I-75 at the Alico Road exit with easy access to Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and the Gulf beaches. The hotel was developed by General Hotels Corporation (GHC) and its investment partners led by Weathervane Capital Partners, Pride Investment Partners and HRV Investments. General Manager Char Gage and Director of Sales Tony Bellegante lead the management team at the property for General Hotels Corporation.
