FUZZY TO CUT RIBBON FOR HOTEL & RESTAURANT OPENING

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN – May 26, 2022 – Community leaders are gathering today at 3:30 PM to celebrate the opening of the brand-new Hilton Garden Inn in Jeffersonville. Fuzzy Zoeller will be on hand to cut the ribbon for the official grand opening of the hotel and restaurant, Fuzzy’s The 15th Club Food & Spirits. Fuzzy’s appearance isn’t a celebrity endorsement, but as one of the owners of the newly constructed hotel and restaurant. Joining Fuzzy for the ribbon cutting will be Jeffersonville Mayor Mike Moore, SoIN Tourism Chief Marketing Officer Luanne Mattson and General Hotels Corporation President and CEO Jim Dora, Jr.

Located at 4900 Water Tower Rd in Jeffersonville, the 114-room hotel is situated on the northwest corner of I-265 and IN-62, conveniently located near the River Ridge Commerce Center with easy access to I-65 and events happening in Jeffersonville, Louisville, and the surrounding area.
 
Owned by Fuzzy Zoeller and his family, this project was developed through a partnership with Indianapolis based General Hotels Corporation who also serves as the management company for the hotel and restaurant.

Guests at today’s grand opening party will have the opportunity to sample several dishes from the restaurant’s menu. Fuzzy’s The 15th Club Food & Spirits is expected to be a popular dining destination for travelers and local residents alike with competitively priced breakfast and lunch options and expanded dinner menu which includes the deep rich flavors of their in-house smoked Beef Brisket and St. Louis Style Ribs. In addition to the featured barbeque items, the menu includes handcrafted burgers, grilled steaks, salmon, Broasted chicken and stuffed portobello mushrooms. On Friday & Saturday nights the restaurant also features a Prime Rib dinner special. Fuzzy’s The 15th Club Food & Spirits is open to the public for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and available for dine in or carryout.
 
Diners will be immersed in Fuzzy’s passion for golf with a selection of photos highlighting his career placed throughout the dining room or may grab a seat on the large outdoor covered patio. The bar at Fuzzy’s The 15th Club Food & Spirits offers specialty cocktails made with Fuzzy’s Vodka as well as an extensive list of draft & bottled beer, wine, and spirits.

About Fuzzy Zoeller
Originally from New Albany, IN, Frank “Fuzzy” Zoeller is most widely known as one of the great characters and competitors golf has ever known. His professional golf career produced 10 PGA victories, including the ‘84 US Open and ‘79 Masters. Fuzzy is only one of three players to win the Masters in their first appearance. He also has wins on the Champions Tour – the 2002 Senior PGA Championship and the 2004 MasterCard Championship.
